A Fighter's Chance At the Las Vegas City Boxing Gym, former world champ Wayne McCullough will show you the ropes.

If you like playing basketball, you can walk into the gym to practice, but you won’t be shooting three pointers next to LeBron James. Boxing, on the other hand, is virtually the only major sport where a world champion can be pounding the heavy bag next to you. At the Las Vegas City Boxing Gym, you are virtually assured of seeing a former world champion, thanks to one of its partners, former WBC bantamweight champ, Wayne McCulllough.
“it’s not just a boxing gym,” McCullough says. “It’s really a place where everyone can get into shape. I think a lot people thing that when they join a boxing gym, they need to spar right away. It’s a place where champions can train but everyone is welcome.”
Regardless of your boxing skill level, McCullough will be there to ensure that everyone gets the best training possible. His knowledge comes from an undisputed source. “The late great Eddie Futch was my trainer,” McCullough says. Futch also trained the likes of Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks. “Everything that Eddie taught me, I try to pass down to the next group of fighters.”
The 48,000 square foot facility will be located inside the Las Vegas City Athletic Club and will include group exercise studios, CrossFit, an indoor lap pool and massage therapy.
