Giving Back with the NBRPA The legends of pro basketball teach basketball and life lessons in Newtown, CT

   Over the past year, the National Basketball Retired Players Association has been hosting clinics around the country, allowing kids to receive basketball instruction and lessons about life. Yesterday, the NBRPA brought several of their legends to the community of Newtown, CT to host clinics for for over 100 kids in Newtown, CT
   Treadwell Park and Dickinson Park. Heading up the clinics were former New York Knicks star Tom Hoover, who offered a lesson on the importance of perseverance in life, and former Golden State Warriors power forward, Dwight Davis. Joining the clinics as instructors were former New Jersey Nets star Albert King, NBA Hall of Famer Nate “Tiny” Archibald and former Harlem Globetrotter and New York City basketball legend Carl Green.
