As US soccer’s greatest players congregate for the 2013 MLS All Star Game in Kansas City, it’s a good time to pay homage one of this country’s greatest tradtions—barbecue. Arthur Bryant, originally founded in the 1920s, has been the place where athletes, heads of state and VIP’s of all fields come to rub elbows and ribs. Bryant himself was considered King of Ribs in his day. His famous sauce has found its way to the plates of people like Harry Truman, Bill Clinton, Tom Watson and Jack Nicholson. Isn’t it time you got the VIP treatment?
